DIGITAL RESPONSIBILITY AWARENESS

October 2-6, 2017

Homewood City Schools will be observing Digital Responsibility Awareness (DRA), formerly known as Digital Citizenship Awareness, the first week in October. During this week, increased emphasis will be placed on the importance of being aware, appropriate, and authentic online. The district’s librarians have organized various activities for the students and teachers at their campuses centered around the school’s theme for the week. We look forward to the support of our parents by extending this conversation from school to the home. Furthermore, we would like to bring everyone’s attention to the Digital Responsibility Awareness, Affordable Home Internet, and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) resources below and to the highlights of the week by following #maximizehwd or #HCSDigitalResponsibility.
